You Have to Learn to Laugh

I've been visiting the chiropractor a lot lately because basically my neck curves where it shouldn't and is straight where it should curve. Sounds a lot like the rest of my body! 😘 Well.. I am still trying to learn to relax as my body is twisted and cracked in ways I don't twist and crack. I usually hold my breath and tense up but I decided this wasn't helping and I made up my mind to just let it go and breath naturally as he worked on my back. This was a HUGE mistake. The startling and horrifically embarrassing...

Guilty child/Sneaky mom

No interrogation needed with this highly refined technique😏. When it's too quiet and you get that mom sense that they are getting into trouble just pull out the ninja moves and slip in from behind and watch the reaction.🕵 You'll either get a "oh, hi Mom" or you will have to peel them off the ceiling. My middle child is the most entertaining with this but I did get an awesome reaction from my daughter once too. She was in trouble and stomped up to her room. Blessing in Everything

I remember a December day back when my kids were still pretty young. I was having a bad day and everything seemed wrong, hard, and frustrating. I was driving on the freeway to run some errands and complaining in my mind about pretty much everything I could think of. Then, for some reason I thought, "Well....at least the roads are dry. RADIANT

"Charlotte had written the word RADIANT, and Wilbur really looked radiant as he stood in the golden sunlight. Ever since the spider had befriended him, he had done his best to live up to his reputation. When Charlotte's web had said SOME PIG, Wilbur had tried hard to look like some pig. When Charlotte's web said TERRIFIC, Wilbur had tried to look terrific. And now that the web said RADIANT, he did everything possible to make himself glow." - E.B. White⁣⁣I was heading down the road the other day and noticed an older pickup truck in front of me. It's...

Parenting Fact

I was at my chiropractic appointment yesterday relaxing on the TENS unit table next to a very cute mom and her chattering son (we'll call him... Henry). He quieted for a minute, I'm assuming to watch a commercial, and then said, "Mom, you should try exercising. Then maybe your tummy wouldn't be so big." I heard a muffled, "Thanks, Henry". 😟⁣⁣I had to chuckle because my adorable little one likes to come up and rub his hands into my stomach and tell me how much he likes my "squishy tummy". Adorable eh?.....To Henry's credit he did follow up with "But...
