On the first day of Christmas - Traditions

Posted by Jessica Bettridge on

12 more days until Christmas Eve!! Can you believe it? While we finish up the last of the Christmas packages we thought it would be fun to share with you 12 of our Christmas favorites and traditions, one each day until Christmas Eve! We hope you will join us by commenting with your favorites too! ⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣This long standing tradition actually takes place in October or November. Since I was little, the girls in our family, along with aunts and cousins and Grandma, would you go to a cute and unique little restaurant called The Greenery that included a fun little shop attached to the side. We go for an early lunch and then spend the afternoon looking at all the fun Christmas displays and shopping for treasures. Our family has become too big to go with all of extended family but we still make it a priority to go with our little group each fall. I end up spending the most time walking up and down the Christmas ornament area looking for something fun and new to fit the personality of each one of my cute kids! Each year we try to figure out how many years this tradition has been going (we are guessing 40+ years!) and marvel that we still get to make it happen each year. ⁣⁣⁣

Now it's your turn! Is there something you do every holiday season?⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣
